Hello everyone! We cowboys and cowgirls really enjoy a Rodeo, don’t we? Good parties, lively music, beautiful people, and that country vibe we love.

However, while many country music lovers may know only traditional rodeos like Barretos and Jaguariúna, these are not the only famous ones in our country. So, to keep you in the loop about these events, 7MBoots has created an exciting list of the 7 main rodeos in Brazil.

1- Peão Festival in Piracicaba

Located just over 150 km from São Paulo, the Traditional Peão Festival in Piracicaba gathers around 100,000 people annually over 5 days of events. Featuring various shows and rodeo modalities, it's usually held in August.

2- Boiadeiro Peão Festival in Cajamar

Traditional among cowboys and cowgirls from all over Brazil, unfortunately, the last edition of the Boiadeiro Peão Festival in Cajamar took place in 2015. Due to political instabilities, the city has faced some challenges regarding the event. However, it is still recognized as one of Brazil's main country music hubs and has hosted major stars like Edson & Hudson and Chitãozinho and Xororó.

3- Peão Festival in Limeira

The Rodeo in Limeira was created to bring together the cowboys of the city and is now considered one of the largest in the country. Since 2010, the event has taken place at Espaço Rodeio, a modern venue located in one of São Paulo's largest event spaces, hosting various country music shows and numerous rodeo competitions.

4- Peão Festival in Itapecerica

Located just 33 km from São Paulo, Itapecerica da Serra specializes in rodeo. It has hosted the event for over 30 years. Always held in July, the lively festivals feature numerous riding competitions and country music performances.

5- Peão Festival in Americana

The Peão Festival in Americana started in 1987. In the beginning, it attracted around 25,000 people, and now it exceeds 400,000 attendees. A highly traditional event in Brazil, it showcases numerous technological innovations, alongside country music shows and various riding competitions.

6- Boiadeiro Peão Festival in Barretos

This one couldn’t be left out, right?

Considered the largest rodeo event in Latin America, the Boiadeiro Peão Festival in Barretos started in 1956. Its differentiators include infrastructure, a large audience, and numerous attractions. Indeed, this is the most awaited country event of the year, attracting over a million visitors during its two-week duration. Furthermore, the festival hosts Brazil's largest international competition.

7- Peão Festival in Jaguariúna

The Peão Festival in Jaguariúna is also one of the major rodeo events in the country, often featuring big names in country music, both national and international. Additionally, the event is known for its numerous competitions involving North American, Canadian, and Australian cowboys.
